When not checking out real estate and working with clients, Joan spends her time with her children and grandchildren, working in the garden, keeping bees, raising chickens, teaching fitness classes (yoga, Pilates, Tabata, and boot camp), enjoying the water in kayak or canoe, jogging, lifting weights, hiking, cooking, and riding motorcycle. She enjoys a fast pace and variety and is a lifetime resident of the St. Croix River Valley, residing in Hudson.

She earned a Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls in Business Administration, then worked in Human Resources for 15 years before moving into her real estate career.  She is a versatile, experienced real estate agent with Lakes Area Realty and has enthusiasm to make real estate transactions as quick and efficient as possible. Wisconsin and Minnesota licensed, working with both buyers and sellers, she brings common sense and real estate knowledge together with the professionalism clients expect and enjoy facilitating real estate transactions with the client in mind.
